Join us for AAFP ROUNDS on VIN

  • Sunday, September 9, 8pm ET: Clomipramine and cats
(Dr. Chantal Lainesse, DVM, MSc, PhD, DACVCP)

Ever wondered why clomipramine works for some cats but doesn't work for other cats? The September AAFP rounds will focus on recent pharmacokinetic studies that may help explain some of the variability in therapeutic success and incidence of side effects seen with the administration of Clomicalm in cats. Join us and find out a few tricks on how to increase the efficacy of this antidepressant.

  • Sunday, September 30, 8pm ET: AAFP Student Chapters Meet & Greet (AAFP Students, Student Committee members, Regional Directors, Practice Mentors and Faculty Advisors)
  • Sunday, October 14, 8pm ET: Real-time PCR as a Diagnostic Option for the Feline Practitioner (Dr. Christian Leutenegger, DVM, PhD, FVH)

Compare your diagnostic protocols for a suspected FIP cat with Dr. Kennedy. Feel free to share any of your FIP cases on the rounds message board here:

In recognition of World Rabies Day, events are planned on or around Sept. 8 in the United States, Canada, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom. Each event is unique.

3 files have been posted to the AAFP Rounds "Announcement" message board for our AAFP membership to utilize in this World Rabies Day promotional campaign:
