Nominations Requested for the AVMA Veterinary Leadership Conference
The 2008 Veterinary
Leadership Conference/House of Delegates Winter Session will be held
January 11-13 at the
Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center, Schaumburg, Illinois. If
you are a recent graduate (6 years
or less since graduation), you are eligible to be nominated to attend the
conference and have your attendance
expenses covered. It is an excellent way to see your veterinary
association leadership at work and attend workshops
on current leadership topics.

The Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory at Auburn University would
like to announce the opening of a two-year study
funded by the AAFP and the WINN Foundation entitled "Evidence of Effective
Drug Delivery using Transdermal Gel
Delivery Systems in Cats." Blood samples will be requested from feline
patients receiving any of 7 drugs (amitryptylline,
buprenorphine, enrofloxacin, methimazole, metronidazole, prednisolone, and
prednisone) in either a transdermal or
